You too can be self employed as a music teacher

Being self-employed will change your life.

Hi! I'm Stuart Smith, a music teacher in Tucson, Arizona.

I was able to quit my full time job in 2016 to teach music from home. Being self-employed allows me to be with my family all the time.

Now I am ready to help other musicians and music teachers learn how to  become self employed.

I provide one-on-one business coaching on zoom

We'll assess the situation you're in now. We need to uncover your specific needs, including:

  • Getting new customers
  • Website and automation systems
  • Lesson planning and delivery

I'll offer coaching and direction on next steps that will speed up your goals.

What worked for me can work for any other musician who is patient and good at communicating.

I'm a self-employed teacher with experience

I've been a full-time, self-employed music teacher since 2016.

Music lessons have allowed me to maintain a humble but steady income that supports my family of five.  It's what I call a lifestyle business. It has made me healthier and happier than ever before.

I will show you exactly how you can achieve what I've achieved, with your own situation in mind.

My pricing is straightforward and affordable

Getting business coaching should be as easy as taking music lessons. That's the way I try to run my consultation business.

We'll meet once per week. Each half hour session is only $60. You pay once per month up front. So, if you reserve a 30 minute session each week it will cost $240 for the month.

Your first session with me is free

Book a session with me to see if this is a good fit for you. We will do a full coaching session with no commitments, free of charge.

If you're ready to continue making progress with me, we'll schedule your weekly session.

Stage 2: Start a side hustle

The easiest way to get experience as a music teacher is by teaching lessons on the side, on your own terms.

Stage 3: Become self-employed and transform your life

You can do it! It all starts with making a goal.
